About Me
I am a saxophone player/music educator during the week and photographer the rest of the time. I live about 20 minutes away from St. Louis, MO in a town called East Alton, IL which is close to the world's famous Fast Eddies Bon-Air. I began photography when my youngest daughter was born in 2012 and I wanted to try to get my own newborn photos during my maternity leave. During this time I found a new hobby that quickly became an obsession. I started out photographing my family and my best friend's family and used them for a lot of guinea pig sessions. After posting some to social media I started getting gigs more frequently and have built up my skills along with my portfolio. My favorite sessions are definitely Maternity and Birthing Stories but also love sessions with families. I try to keep all sessions chill by playing music during the shoots and keeping a sense of humor. When I'm not taking photos, playing music, or teaching music, I love spending quality time with my husband (who is also a sax player/educator) and my two beautiful, feisty, red-headed daughters Eliza, 8 and Kathryn, 5.
